This policy explains what information automation-alchemy.io collects, how it’s used, and the choices you have. Automation Alchemy is run by Nathan Householder; “I” and “me” below mean him.
What I collect
What you send me. When you use the contact form, I receive your name and email address, plus anything else you choose to include: your phone number, your business, your message, and how you heard about me. I also record whether you checked the box agreeing to receive text messages.
Anonymous usage data. This site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count page views and measure how quickly pages load. They don’t use cookies and don’t follow you to other websites. They record things like the page you visited, the site that linked you here, your browser and device type, and your country.
Server logs. Like any website, the company that hosts this one (Vercel) processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and to protect the site from abuse.
How I use it
- To reply to you and talk about your inquiry.
- To provide services, if we decide to work together.
- To keep a record of our conversation in the system I use to track my work and my customers.
- To keep the site running, secure and fast.
I don’t sell your information, and I don’t use it for advertising.
Text messages
If you check the box on the contact form, you agree to receive text messages from Automation Alchemy about your inquiry and my services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of doing business with me.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Who else sees it
Only the service providers that help me run the business, and only as much as they need to do their job: website hosting (Vercel), the customer-management and messaging platform I use to keep track of inquiries and clients, and email (Google Workspace). They may use it only to provide their service to me. I may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies
This site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. The analytics described above work without cookies.
How long I keep it
I keep inquiries for as long as I need them to reply and follow up. If we work together, I keep records for as long as we do, and for a reasonable time afterward for accounting and legal reasons. You can ask me to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
- To get a copy of your information, correct it, or have it deleted, email nathan@automation-alchemy.io.
- To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message.
- If you live somewhere that gives you specific privacy rights, such as California or the European Union, email me and I’ll honor them.
Security
I take reasonable steps to protect what you send me, including encrypted connections on every page. No method of sending or storing information is perfectly secure, so please don’t send passwords or payment details through the contact form.
Children
This site is meant for adults running businesses. I don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If I change this policy, I’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
